Great location, close to a Saturday market and a nice Thai food stall. the people in the area are very friendly. Supermarket and bus stop conveniently nearby.

The room could use some improvements, such as better lighting and ventilation. the walls are thin, so noise from neighbors can be disruptive.

For the price we paid, we got great value and a charming room on a boat right on the water. The location was excellent, with easy access to the city center and local amenities. The staff, especially Emma, were friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with more variety or additional options.

Loved being in the heart of the city, close to everything! Schiphol Airport was a breeze. Dam Square was just a hop away. WiFi worked everywhere!

I had the most amazing experience staying at the Houseboat Family in De Jordaan! The location was perfect, with friendly people and a Saturday market nearby. The room was quaint and well-kept, providing free toiletries and drinks. I loved the daily visits from ducks and coots, it added a touch of charm to my stay. The host, Vicki, was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Opening the window in my room allowed me to enjoy the beautiful canal view and watch the swans swim right up. It was truly a unique and memorable experience.

The location was mind-blowing, being inside the canal was jaw-dropping! Quick owner response, self-check-in was super user-friendly. The "cosy studio" was organized, functional, and clean. Emma was incredibly helpful, providing a booklet with local recommendations and clear directions. Feeding the ducks and swans was a fun and memorable experience. The boat had everything we needed, including a comfy bed. The area was nice and quiet, but a short walk to bars and restaurants. Free tea, coffee, and sugar were a nice touch.
